A good cheese platter is about balancing mild, strong, soft and firm cheeses. Marmalade adds sweetness and acidity that lift both blue cheese and soft white mold cheese, while fruit and crackers add freshness and crispness. Arranging the cheeses in small groups makes the platter more inviting and easier to serve from.
