Instructions
Divide the ground beef into four equal pieces and shape them into burgers. Make them slightly larger than the size you want, as they will shrink a little during cooking.
Season the burgers with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a frying pan over medium high heat and melt half of the butter. Cook the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes on one side.
Turn the burgers and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Add cheddar during the last minute, and use a lid if you want the cheese to melt faster.
Remove the burgers from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
Fry the eggs in the remaining butter over medium low heat, until the whites are set and the yolks are still soft.
Slice the cucumber and cut the leek into thin rings. Serve the burgers with fried egg, cucumber, leek and sour cream.
